My favourite thing to make has to be my appliqués - I love the close up attention to detail that is required  - from designing the template and cutting out the fabric - to carefully sewing them onto cotton. It's taken me lots of practice to perfect them as they can be very fiddly to do and it's easy to make a mistake with a wobbly line or two! I like the fact that no two appliqués ever turn out exactly the same, so each and every order made is completely unique.
